The visa process was straightforward for tourists, attended with a palpable sense of entering a land not frequently trodden by international visitors.<\/p>\n<p>#### Sukhumi: A City of Ruins and Rebirth<\/p>\n<p>My first stop was Sukhumi, the capital city.
